It will allow indie filmmakers to make as anywhere from $1.50 to $3 per film viewing instead of the usual 1 to 15 cents per viewing.

You won’t have to market them at all! Once your movie is approved for the app, potentially thousands of individuals will be ready and willing to market it for you. You won’t have to lift a finger.

Once the app and built and running, as an indie filmmaker, you’ll be able to upload your movie for approval.

Mostly, we want to make sure you have made a good, quality film. Unlike other streaming apps, we don’t want bad movies on our app to give us a bad reputation. So if your idea of filmmaking is getting some friends together on the weekend to shoot a movie with a budget of nothing more than beer and BBQ, odds are it won’t get approved. We want well told stories, strong scripts, and great acting.

That’s a good question, and one we don’t have an answer to yet. The initial crowdfunding campaign will be to raise the money for development, which will include finding out how much all this will cost.

We have interviewed several high-profile companies. The one I liked the most is a company called Ethode out of Akron, Ohio. They seemed to understand the concept better than anyone, and they have our full confidence that they can get it done.
