Synopsis: A bitter homeowner’s obsession with removing a roadside memorial spirals into a supernatural reckoning that forces him to confront the tragedy—and his own lack of humanity—too late.

MARTIN DEAVER (Male, Late 20s to early 40s)
A tightly wound, no-nonsense professional who values order, control, and routine above all else. Martin is the kind of man who measures life in productivity and efficiency—impatient, blunt, and often lacking empathy for others. Beneath his rigid exterior is a growing unease he refuses to acknowledge, masking stress and personal unraveling with irritation and denial. As the story progresses, his frustration curdles into obsession, revealing a man deeply disconnected from humanity—and ultimately incapable of escaping the consequences of it.
